About The Central Bar

The Central Bar is a pub on Brothock Bridge in Arbroath, Angus. The name came from its position close to the main shopping street and the fishing community. The pub moved along the road to its present site in November 1969, when the old building was knocked down to make way for the dual carriageway. Today it hosts DJs, rock and karaoke, mostly on Fridays and Saturdays, with Coast 2 Coast and DJ Dakers among recent nights.
