Latin Quarter LIVE with Orquesta Boreal

This charity dance is a live band and DJ music (salsa, bachata, kizomba) to raise money for Azul Wasi children's home in Oropesa, Peru. The money raised at the event goes via UK based charity Peace Child International. The 10 piece Salsa band Orquesta Boreal delivers an electrifying performance with infectious rhythms and salsa beats. With their authentic sound and dynamic musicianship, they transport audiences to the heart of Latin America, evoking the passion and energy of salsa music. Events details : Doors open at 6.45pm, event starts at 7pm with a taster beginners salsa class and then we party until midnight with dancing and animations (line ups), the band will play 2 sets, starting at 7.30pm. DJ Sarita will also be playing bachata, salsa & kizomba. The venue has a large dance floor and a licensed bar. There will be a pre drawn fund raising raffle for Azul Wasi in the break. The night is another celebration of 23 years of the Azul Wasi (formerly Blooming Colibri) homes in Peru and Latin Quarter fund raising classes & events.
