Seamus Egan & Maeve Gilchrist: Into the Ice

About this event

Seamus Egan and Maeve Gilchrist join forces for this cross-border project, drawing inspiration from Ernest Shackleton's 1914 Trans-Antarctic Expedition. The Irish musician and Scottish-Irish harper combine traditional Celtic material with electronic textures, spoken passages and verse to create an immersive experience that moves beyond conventional folk performance.
